After one year's gap (during the short reign of Edward VIII), the Royal Variety Performance came back with a flourish two years later, for this 1937 show, once again at the Palladium, and this time before King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (the late Queen Mother), watching their first Royal Variety Performance as Monarchs.
