James Jones from Clintons Solicitors elected Trustee

The EABF is very pleased to announce that James Jones, from entertainment lawyers, Clintons, has been elected a Trustee of the EABF. James' work for the Fund over recent months has proved invaluable to the EABF and his huge knowledge and experience of both entertainment and corporate law will undoubtedly prove of huge benefit to the Fund going forward.

James joined Clintons in 1992, becoming a Partner in the firm's Commercial and Entertainment Department in 1997.

James has extensive experience of the media and entertainment industry and advises clients on commercial and intellectual property issues across a wide range of sectors.  James is particularly well known for his theatre and live event work (recent shows include Grease in the West End and on tour, Matthew Bourne's Dorian Gray and the Dancing On Ice live tour) and he is, increasingly, advising on television, music and branding projects that have a live element.  James also advises on digital media matters including the licensing of downloads and streams and recently acted on the acquisition of a well known recording and publishing catalogue.  Other clients include record companies, a leading event merchandiser, film and television production companies, a super premium vodka brand, agents and media personalities.
