Giles Cooper elected Chairman

Giles Cooper has been elected as the new Chairman of the EABF.
Giles Cooper commented: "It's an honour and a privilege to take over as Chairman as we approach 2011; the EABF is such a very special charity and the Royal Variety Performance
such a uniquely British institution that it has now become the envy of the entire world. My first task must be to thank our retiring Chairman, Peter Elliott, for his outstanding
contribution and devotion over no less than 22 years to both the Royal Variety
and to the Entertainment Artistes' Benevolent Fund. His flair, energy and
commitment, has been an inspiration to us all.
Peter has transformed Brinsworth House from what it was 20 years ago,
and we now look forward to a new era for the EABF as we reach out to
the needs of sick and elderly entertainers all across the UK".
